Harvey Labovitz, Partner
Harvey Labovitz has more than forty years of experience in the legal community. His primary areas of legal practice include real estate, business securities, secured transactions, and business litigation. He has served as Chairman of the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Arbitration Panels, and is the former chair of the Ohio Division of Securities, Ad Hoc Committee on Promoters’ Compensation in Oil and Gas Programs.
He is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, serving as chairman of its bar admissions committee, and bar admissions appellate committee, and the Ohio State and American Bar Associations, with membership in each association’s section on real property.
He was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1969; U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio, 1971; U.S. Supreme Court, 1977; U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit, 1987; U.S District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, 1994.
He is a graduate of Miami University where he was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, and the Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California at Berkeley.
